Tribute to Manmohan Singh: A Friendship of Economic Titans

Bangladesh's interim government Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus paid tribute to the late Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the Indian High Commission in Dhaka. Yunus, an economist and long-time friend of Singh, highlighted Singh's contribution to India's economic rise. India is observing a seven-day mourning period.

On Tuesday, Bangladesh interim government's Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus visited the Indian High Commission in Dhaka to honor the late Manmohan Singh, former Indian Prime Minister.

Yunus placed a floral wreath at Singh's portrait and penned a tribute in the High Commission's condolence book. The visit was marked by an exchange of memories with Indian High Commissioner Pranay Kumar Verma, centering on Singh's impactful role in India's economic growth.

The nation of India is currently in a seven-day mourning period in remembrance of Singh, who was widely recognized for his wisdom and simplicity. Singh passed away last Thursday in New Delhi at the age of 92.
