The sacred bath of Maghi Purnima commenced early Wednesday, as throngs of devotees descended upon the Maha Kumbh Mela. Robust traffic management and crowd control measures were in place to handle the influx of participants engaged in this spiritual tradition.

With the conclusion of the Kalpavas period, officials urged departing Kalpvasis to adhere to traffic guidelines and utilize authorized parking areas. Extensive arrangements were executed to ensure devotees faced no disruptions while performing the sacred bath at Triveni Sangam and other designated ghats.

Enhanced security measures included special police forces and real-time monitoring of vehicle movement through data from toll plazas. The Uttar Pradesh state transport department provided 1,200 additional shuttle buses for seamless transport of devotees, while the city transformed into a 'no vehicle zone' to maintain order.
