During the ceremony, 42 awards were distributed to honor acts of gallantry and distinguished service, including 21 Sena Medals for bravery, five Sena Medals for distinguished service, two Bars to Sena Medals, two Yudh Seva Medals, and several Vishisht Seva Medals. Lt. Gen. Tiwari also bestowed GOC-in-C Unit Appreciation on 45 exceptional units.
A day preceding the ceremony, a cultural event 'Shaurya Sandhya' at Ranchi's War Memorial showcased martial arts, a helicopter fly-past, and an Army Band performance, celebrating the Indian Army's rich heritage. This annual event underscores the dedication and valor of the soldiers in the Eastern Command.
