The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has relocated its office back to its original Jhandewalan site in Delhi after completing an extensive rebuilding project. The new campus spans 3.75 acres and includes three 13-storey towers with approximately 300 rooms and offices.
Sources reveal the reconstruction of the RSS office, known as Keshav Kunj, cost around Rs 150 crore, sourced from over 75,000 sympathizers of the Hindutva ideology. The initiative faced an eight-year path to completion, largely impeded by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Notable attendees for the RSS gathering on February 19 will include the organization's chief Mohan Bhagwat and general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale. The headquarters is equipped with modern facilities such as a library, health clinic, and solar power setup, designed by Gujarat architect Anup Dave. It also integrates the aesthetics of ancient architecture while supporting ecological practices.
