Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is set to embark on a day-long visit to Jammu this Saturday, marking a significant event as he presides over the convocation of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.
In addition to his academic pursuits, the Vice President will pay a visit to the revered Mata Vaishno Devi shrine and the Bhairon temple located atop the Trikuta Hills, echoing the spiritual significance of his journey.
This visit, initially slated for December 27 of the previous year, was postponed due to national mourning after the demise of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, underscoring the evolving nature of official schedules in the wake of national events.
