Elvish Yadav Faces NCW Summons Over Racist Remarks

Social media influencer Elvish Yadav is facing serious allegations after being summoned by the National Commission for Women for purportedly making racist remarks about Miss Arunachal and Bigg Boss participant, Chum Darang.

The controversial comments, made during a podcast with Big Boss 18 contestant Rajat Dalal, have stirred backlash, prompting action from the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women. In a letter to the NCW, its chairperson Kenjum Pakam described Yadav's comments as derogatory and insulting to women across northeast India.

Yadav is required to appear before the NCW on Monday to address these accusations, which have attracted considerable condemnation from various quarters.
