Mumbai Police are actively pursuing podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, whose controversial remarks on a YouTube show have ignited a public backlash. Details emerged on Saturday, highlighting that efforts to trace Allahbadia remain unsuccessful as his phone persists in being switched off.

The contentious remarks on comedian Samay Raina's now-deleted show, 'India's Got Latent,' have aroused significant public ire, prompting multiple complaints. Allahbadia's YouTube fame via his 'BeerBiceps' channel notwithstanding, his current whereabouts elude the police, especially given the locked state of his Versova residence.

While Allahbadia sought recording his statement from home, the request was declined. Comedian Raina, presently in the US, received a delay until March 10 to present his statement. Meanwhile, the police have noted statements from several persons involved, though no FIR has been lodged. Maharashtra Cyber has called around 50 individuals for testimony, including a celebrity judge from the show.
