Khajuraho Dance Festival Sets Guinness World Record

The 51st Khajuraho Dance Festival in Madhya Pradesh has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a Guinness World Record for the longest classical dance marathon. An astonishing 139 artists participated, dancing continuously for over 24 hours.
Commencing at 2:34 PM on Wednesday, the event concluded at 2:43 PM on Thursday, marking a non-stop marathon of 24 hours, 9 minutes, and 26 seconds. Following the declaration of the performance as a world record, the Guinness team awarded a certificate to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Organized by the MP Department of Culture, the festival featured mesmerizing performances of various classical dance forms including Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, and Odissi.
