Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a sharp dig at the opposition Samajwadi Party on Monday, questioning their management of the 2013 Kumbh Mela during their tenure.
He criticized former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for delegating the event's responsibility to Mohammad Azam Khan, whom he referred to as a "non-Sanatani," and accused their regime of overseeing a chaotic and corrupt event.
Adityanath contrasted this with the current administration's handling of the Maha Kumbh, emphasizing organized and successful management, marked by visits from global leaders including from 74 nations, and praised the international appeal and participation under his leadership.
