Three women were tragically killed in a fireworks factory explosion in Kambainallur village, marking a devastating incident on Monday.
Chief Minister M K Stalin conveyed his condolences from Chennai, mourning the loss and acknowledging the tragedy.
He further announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs four lakh for each family of the deceased, sourced from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund, as a measure of support.
