On Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, and Governor S Abdul Nazeer extended warm Maha Shivaratri greetings to the people, highlighting the festival's spiritual and unifying significance.

Chief Minister Naidu expressed his blessings on social media, wishing health and joy to those observing traditional rituals such as river baths and fasting. Meanwhile, Governor Nazeer's message from the Raj Bhavan underscored the occasion's ability to inspire love and brotherhood.

Lord Shiva temples in the state witnessed a large influx of devotees. To ensure smooth celebrations, Endowments Minister A Ramnarayan Reddy presented ceremonial offerings at Sri Kalahasti temple, while police facilitated crowd management and safety measures state-wide.
