Arunachal Pradesh: Unlocking India's Energy Future with Hydropower

During a visit to Arunachal Pradesh, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar spotlighted the state's staggering potential to generate 50,000 megawatts of hydropower, presenting it as pivotal for India's energy strategy.

While attending the Nyokum Yullo festival in Boasimla, Dhankhar stressed the significance of cultural festivities in protecting tribal heritage, emphasizing the state's burgeoning economic potential.

Accompanied by Minister Kiren Rijiju, Dhankhar inaugurated a new indoor facility, lauding the region's growth and its vast investment prospects, valued at Rs 5 lakh crore. He also celebrated the achievements of Kabak Yano, the first Nyishi woman to scale Mt. Everest.
