The SRCC Staff Association has leveled serious accusations against the Delhi University Students' Union President Raunak Khatri, alleging misconduct and a damaging social media campaign against the college. The controversy arose after Khatri’s visit to the college aimed at addressing concerns about stray dogs’ welfare, which seem to have sparked unrest.

Khatri defended his actions, asserting that he was denied an adequate forum for discussion on March 11. He further claimed that the college administration was obstructive and dismissive of student voices. As tensions escalate, faculty members have demanded a campus entry ban on Khatri and legal actions against those they allege are spreading misinformation.

In defense, Khatri has used Instagram and X to accuse faculty of intimidation, highlighting past student efforts to care for campus stray dogs, inclusive of vaccination and sterilization efforts. The administration remains under scrutiny as students continue to question their responsiveness to grievances.
