Authorities recovered a three-page suicide note and the boyfriend's motorcycle near the scene in a mango orchard on the outskirts of Lalpur village. The couple, identified as Shilpa Yadav, 22, and Bhanu Pratap Singh, 28, apparently chose to take their lives due to their forbidden love, as expressed in the note.
Investigations are ongoing, with preliminary findings pointing to a suicide connected to their romantic involvement. The woman's family had substituted a niece to complete the wedding in the face of societal pressure, adding another layer to this heartrending tale.
