In response to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Karnataka BJP is spearheading a statewide campaign of special prayers at temples for the well-being of the nation's armed forces.
State BJP president B Y Vijayendra, alongside other leaders, led prayer sessions at a local temple, expressing hopes for India's success and global peace. Vijayendra emphasized that terrorism is a global issue, praying for its end.
Following directives from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, these efforts also hold alignment with statewide government actions, under the guidance of the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department, to bolster the morale of the armed forces.
