On Thursday, Malayalam actor Vinayakan found himself in legal trouble after being arrested for allegedly causing a disturbance at a hotel while intoxicated.

The actor, who had been residing at the hotel since May 2 for a film shoot, reportedly created a commotion during checkout. Officers from the Anchalummoodu police station took custody of Vinayakan, charging him under section 118 (a) of the Kerala Police Act after conducting a medical assessment.

This incident is not isolated for the actor, who has a history of similar altercations with law enforcement under the influence of alcohol. However, he was released on station bail after an associate provided surety.
