TTD Strengthens Security Amidst India-Pakistan Tensions
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has increased security measures in light of the India-Pakistan conflict. Following a review meeting led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, security at the Tirupati temple has been heightened with regular drills and oversight by the authorities.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has intensified security protocols in response to the ongoing military tensions between India and Pakistan. An official confirmed the security upgrade on Friday.
TTD's in-charge Chief Vigilance and Security Officer, Harshavardhan Raju, revealed that during a recent review meeting with district Superintendents of Police, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the necessity for heightened security measures at the Tirupati temple.
Raju stated, "Yes, our Chief Minister recently held a review with all SPs, specifically highlighting the need to bolster security at TTD." Enhanced safety drills in collaboration with the Organisation for Counter-Terrorist Operations (OCTOPUS) are being conducted, with ongoing security checks, he added. The temple, which attracts between 70,000 to 100,000 pilgrims daily, is under the vigilant supervision of DGP Harish Kumar Gupta, who monitors the security arrangements closely.
