Tragic Drowning Incident in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum Canal
Two businessmen from UP drowned in a canal in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district on Sunday. Abhisekh Singh and Gaurav Kumar went with two others for a bath. One started drowning, and the other tried to save him, but both drowned. Their bodies were recovered on Monday.

A tragic drowning incident occurred in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district, where two businessmen from Uttar Pradesh lost their lives in a canal.
The duo, identified as Abhisekh Singh and Gaurav Kumar, were part of a group of four who visited the canal to bathe on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, when one began to struggle in the water, his companion attempted a rescue, but both ultimately drowned.
Their bodies were retrieved by divers on Monday. Both men were known for their involvement in the bamboo trade, police officials confirmed.
