Acclaimed Hollywood actor Carla Gugino is set to lead in the supernatural thriller 'Winthrop', joining co-star Lou Taylor Pucci. The film draws inspiration from the popular podcast 'Knifepoint Horror', focusing on Gugino's character, who bravely defends her beleaguered cousin from an ominous supernatural entity.

The production, written by Justin Yoffe and directed by Daniel Stamm, will commence in Vancouver during the summer months. The narrative promises a suspenseful blend of horror and human connection as the supernatural narrative unfolds.

Additionally, Gugino is slated to appear in 'The Adventures of Cliff Booth', a spin-off directed by David Fincher in collaboration with Brad Pitt, building on the world of Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood'.
