The International Yoga Day was commemorated across Jharkhand on Saturday, witnessing participation from politicians across the political spectrum, promoting the holistic benefits of yoga for physical and mental well-being.
State Health Minister Irfan Ansari led a session in Ranchi, emphasizing that yoga is a lifestyle that harmonizes the heart, soul, and mind. Similarly, BJP President Babulal Marandi and Union Minister Annapurna Devi participated in sessions across the state.
Instituted by the United Nations in 2014, International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21, aiming to highlight yoga's significance in maintaining good health. Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and other leaders underscored the growing global awareness of yoga's integrative benefits.
