Devotees Flock to Nashik Temples for Shravan Celebrations

Thousands of devotees gathered at various temples in Nashik for the first Monday of Shravan, a significant event in the Hindu calendar. Thousands of devotees thronged temples across Nashik on the first Monday of the Hindu month of Shravan, a time of significant religious observance.

Among the most visited were Kapaleshwar in Panchavati and Someshwar on Gangapur Road, along with the revered Trimbakeshwar Temple, where worshippers offered 'bel' leaves and flowers, participating in holy dips in Ramkund, Godavari, and Teerthraj Kushavarta.

To control the large crowds at various other temples, including those in Baneshwar, Naroshankar, and Ardhanarinateshwar, a considerable number of police personnel were deployed. Additionally, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) provided extra buses, accommodating the surge of pilgrims.
