Popular actor Prakash Raj has outspokenly condemned the violent attack on YouTubers in Dharmasthala. The journalists were reportedly attacked while covering the contentious mass burial case under investigation by a Special Investigation Team (SIT).
The incident, which involved four men from three YouTube channels, has drawn widespread attention and sparked accusations of trying to defame the religious town in Karnataka. Raj, in a video statement, criticized the perpetrators and urged the police to act swiftly to arrest those involved.
The on-going SIT probe is investigating serious allegations of mass murder and illegal activities in Dharmasthala. The appeal for justice in the Soujanya murder case, with intense public interest on social media, is central to the renewed focus on Dharmasthala.
