Telangana CM Pledges Support to Transform Hyderabad into Film Industry Hub

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced plans to turn Hyderabad into a premier filmmaking hub in India. He has pledged comprehensive support from the state government to aid the development of the film industry in the city.
The chief minister's assurance came during a meeting with winners of the 71st National Film Awards at his residence. The film producers took the opportunity to highlight the industry's challenges in Hyderabad, seeking government assistance for the same. Revanth Reddy recognized the achievements of National Award-winning filmmakers and teams, including Anil Ravipudi, director of the 2023 action drama 'Bhagavanth Kesari', Prasanth Varma of the superhero film 'Hanu-Man', as well as visual effects specialists Venkat and Srinivas, fight choreographers Nandu and Prithvi, and Sai Rajesh, director of the romantic drama 'Baby'. Singer Rohit was also felicitated.
The meeting also saw the attendance of 'Hanu-Man' producers Chaitanya Reddy and Niranjan Reddy, 'Baby' producer SKN, and 'Bhagavanth Kesari' producer Garapati Sahu, according to an official from the Chief Minister's Office.
