Delhi's power distribution companies, commonly referred to as discoms, have unveiled a new initiative to provide 'tatkal' connections to organizers of the city's Durga Puja and Ram Leelas. The move aims to ensure a seamless 24-hour power supply for these significant events.
Organizers can avail themselves of these temporary connections by applying through the website, mobile app, WhatsApp, or customer care services of BSES Rajdhani Power Limited and BSES Yamuna Power Limited. A spokesperson confirmed that payments for these connections can be completed conveniently online.
Similarly, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (TPDDL) has announced a plan to offer 'tatkal' connections for these festivals within 24 hours. Applicants need to either complete formalities at TPDDL's division office or apply via the company's official website.
