Rajasthan witnessed robust Navratri celebrations marked by intense religious devotion on Monday, as devotees flocked to temples statewide for the festival welcoming Goddess Durga. The festival, observed from Banswara to Jaipur, showcased unity in spiritual practices.
A significant highlight was a 5-kilometre-long sacred cloth offered at the Tripura Sundari Temple, Banswara. The procession, led by the Vishwakarma Vanshi Sena, included devotees from various Madhya Pradesh regions, travelling to honor the annual tradition.
Temples like Amber Fort's Shila Mata Temple and Mehrangarh Fort's Chamunda Temple experienced large turnouts, with traditional rituals such as Ghata Sthapana, Durga Saptashati recitation, and havans echoing through the holy expeditions, reinforcing communal harmony and religious grandeur.
