Celebrated Classical Maestro Pandit Chhannulal Mishra Passes at 89
Pandit Chhannulal Mishra, an eminent classical vocalist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, passed away at 89 after a prolonged illness. Mishra was living with his daughter's family in Mirzapur. His health declined overnight, leading to his hospitalization. He leaves behind two daughters and a son.

Renowned classical vocalist and Padma Vibhushan awardee Pandit Chhannulal Mishra passed away early Thursday at the age of 89.
Family members reported that Mishra succumbed to a prolonged illness around 4 am. He had been residing in Mirzapur with his youngest daughter's family in recent times.
His health took a sudden turn for the worse on Wednesday night, necessitating hospitalization. Despite medical efforts, he died during treatment. Mishra is survived by two daughters and a son, while his wife predeceased him four years ago.
