Tragedy Strikes: Indonesia School Collapse Claims Lives

Three boys' bodies were found after a school collapse in Indonesia, with dozens still missing. The al Khoziny Islamic boarding school in Java crumbled during construction, resulting in at least eight deaths and over 100 injuries. Efforts continue to search for those unaccounted for.

An early Friday morning rescue operation in Indonesia uncovered the bodies of three boys beneath the rubble of a collapsed school. With more than 50 students yet missing, officials fear the death toll could increase.

Rescue teams, operating by hand since the school's collapse on Monday, intensified their efforts Thursday after detecting no signs of life, utilizing heavy machinery to speed up their search.

The collapse at al Khoziny Islamic boarding school trapped hundreds in the prayer hall. Eight students are confirmed dead, and about 105 injured, many with severe head injuries. Fifty-five remain missing. Authorities note unauthorized construction may have contributed to the disaster.
