Global beauty leader Oriflame has released its inaugural Beauty & Wellbeing Report, illustrating a paradigm shift in how women globally perceive beauty. The report, based on interviews with 3,500 women from seven countries, underscores beauty's essential role in boosting emotional wellbeing and self-confidence.
CEO Anna Malmhake emphasized that beauty now transcends mere aesthetics, serving as a source of emotional support, connection, and empowerment. The report shows that 95% of respondents link beauty to wellbeing, and 42% perceive a strong connection between the two, while eschewing unrealistic standards for a more holistic approach.
Key insights highlight that 64% of women prioritize personalized skincare and nutrition. Furthermore, while 71% critique society's emphasis on appearance, they value self-confidence and happiness more. The report redefines beauty as an amalgamation of inner and outer traits, contributing to emotional wellness and mental refreshment.
