The Mahakal Lok complex in Ujjain is now home to a spectacular light and sound show designed to educate tourists and devotees on the city's historical grandeur, according to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Inaugurated during the Diwali festivities, the 25-minute laser show at Rudra Sagar is part of the Smart City Project, crafted by the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation at an investment of Rs 18.7 crore. It brings to life the legacy of Lord Mahakaleshwar, the Shipra river, and Ujjain, also known as Avantika.
Adding to the festivities, the newly launched Shri Mahakaleshwar Band delivered a live performance. CM Yadav expressed optimism that with leadership from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and blessings from Baba Mahakal, India is on a rapid development trajectory, highlighting Ujjain's special place in the nation's history.
