Delhi Prepares for a Grand Chhath Puja: Faith and Celebrations Unite Nation's Capital

Gupta emphasized the government's commitment to supporting the cultural and religious fabric of the city, noting that Chhath Puja will be celebrated with grandeur, much like Delhi's recent Diwali celebrations. Initiatives include constructing special model ghats along the Yamuna River and organizing cultural programs at around 200 sites.

Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa highlighted the unprecedented government approval for Yamuna bank celebrations. Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra heralded this as a fulfillment of election promises, while South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri emphasized the festival's role in uniting society and culture.
