Chief Minister Pema Khandu described the annual Arunachal Rang Mahotsav (ARM) as a tribute to 'art, courage, and human connection,' showcasing Arunachal's growing cultural influence globally. The festival kicked off with the premiere of 'Robin and Jummi,' leaving audiences in deep reflection.
Celebrated actor Adil Hussain graced the occasion, with Khandu emphasizing the universal language of art and urging youth and art lovers to experience the festival's diversity. Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, festival chairman, highlighted ARM's rapid rise as a key cultural platform in Northeast India.
Embassy officials from Denmark and Ireland attended, underscoring ARM's international reach. Over 13 days, the festival will host performances from India and beyond, featuring workshops and discussions to promote dialogue among global artistic traditions.
