On a hot morning at the Adelaide Oval, Australia's first innings came to an abrupt end with a total of 371 on the board during day two of the third Ashes test. The team added 45 runs to their previous day's total of 326 for eight.
Mitchell Starc was a standout performer, registering his second consecutive half-century of the series before falling victim to Jofra Archer. Starc was dismissed for 54 after a blistering start that included five boundaries off Archer and Carse.
Jofra Archer continued to dominate, finishing with a haul of 5-53, trapping Nathan Lyon lbw and sealing the innings for England. Australia, holding the prestigious Ashes, are currently leading the series 2-0 following decisive wins in Perth and Brisbane.
