On Sunday evening, participants conveyed a powerful message: 'Disability lies not in the body, but in thoughts.'
The three-day event, organized by the district administration and social justice department, featured around 90 participants from various local organizations. It was a unique initiative that meshed inclusivity with celebration, leaving the audience in awe while participants walked away with certificates and mementos.
The festival, which also included water sports and exhibitions by women's self-help groups, highlighted traditional foods and cultural heritage. R S Bali, Himachal Pradesh Corporation's chairman, emphasized the event's significance, which also honored martyred Wing Commander Namnash Syal with a tribute. The efforts expanded to health services, including disability certification and awareness programs.
