Vice President Honors Sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur

Vice President C P Radhakrishnan paid tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur at Rakab Ganj Sahib gurdwara on his 350th martyrdom day. Radhakrishnan offered prayers for peace and harmony. Guru Tegh Bahadur, born in 1621, was martyred in 1675 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.

Vice President C P Radhakrishnan visited the Rakab Ganj Sahib gurdwara to honor the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru.

During his visit, Radhakrishnan offered prayers and sought blessings for peace, harmony, and the well-being of all, according to his Secretariat.

Guru Tegh Bahadur, born in 1621 in Amritsar, was executed by order of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in 1675, becoming a symbol of resistance and sacrifice.
