Prime Minister Narendra Modi captivated the crowd with his dynamic presence during a roadshow in Udupi. Arriving via helicopter from Mangaluru, he participated in the 'Laksha Geeta Pathana,' a large-scale recital where over a lakh devotees chanted verses from the Bhagavad Gita.
Standing on the vehicle's running board, Modi waved to jubilant supporters who lined the streets, showering his convoy with flower petals, to which Modi responded by tossing flowers back in acknowledgment. The route was adorned with saffron festoons and BJP flags.
Complementing the festive atmosphere, cultural troupes performed, celebrating the rich traditions of coastal Karnataka. Modi's itinerary also included prayers at the Sri Krishna temple, seeking blessings from Paryaya Swamiji, amplifying the day's spiritual significance.
