President Droupadi Murmu emphasized the importance of the ancient Indian philosophy of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam', which translates to 'the world is one family', in the face of unprecedented global challenges. Speaking at the Brahma Kumaris' annual theme launch for 2025-26, titled 'Meditation for World Unity and Trust', Murmu underscored the enduring relevance of these principles.

She noted that while humanity has progressed technologically and educationally, these advancements come with increased stress, mental insecurity, and societal mistrust. The growing sense of loneliness further exacerbates these challenges.

Murmu concluded by asserting that in addition to forging ahead, individuals must also undertake introspection. The ancient wisdom of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' offers a solution by encouraging unity and deeper self-awareness.
