The 74-year-old, honored at the International Film Festival of India's closing ceremony, received accolades from Goa's Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. Reflecting on his career, Rajinikanth thanked the cinema industry and its contributors for supporting his legendary career, stating he would choose acting in every lifetime.
Acclaimed for his magnetic screen presence in movies like "Apoorva Ragangal" and "Enthiran," Rajinikanth captivated audiences worldwide. His film ''Lal Salaam,'' a sports drama directed by his daughter Aishwarya, was featured at the festival. Fans can anticipate his return in ''Jailer 2,'' slated for a June 2026 release.
