In a recent address at the national book festival in Nagpur, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat asserted that engaging in disputes is against India's cultural ethos, which traditionally emphasizes fraternity and collective harmony.

Bhagwat differentiated India's concept of nationhood from Western interpretations, suggesting that India's sense of nationhood is rooted in deep interconnectedness rather than pride or arrogance. He noted that this 'rashtra' concept has persisted even through foreign rule, unlike Western nation-state models.

He further stressed using technology like AI for humanity's benefit and spoke on the real essence of globalisation, which he described as creating a global family, not just a market.
