TTD Unveils Ambitious 50-Year Plan for Historic Temple

The plan includes spiritual and technological improvements, cultural spaces, and green areas, ensuring comprehensive facilities for visiting devotees.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams executive officer, Anil Kumar Singhal, has instructed officials to draft a 50-year master plan for the comprehensive development of the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Kadapa district. This initiative aims to enhance infrastructure and accommodate future devotee needs.
The proposed plan will incorporate essential amenities such as accommodation, transportation facilities, greenery, spiritual ambiance, and advanced technological features. Singhal emphasized the necessity to anticipate future devotee flow in the development strategy.
According to an official release, the master plan is set to include elements such as 'Kalyanakatta', 'Pushkarini', 'Nakshatra Vanams', gardens, spiritual symbols, a museum, and a cultural hall. Furthermore, digital advancements like screens and surveillance cameras, alongside decorative arches, will be part of the temple's upgraded infrastructure.
