Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, is at the center of legal scrutiny following a complaint alleging his involvement in an obscene gesture during an event in Bengaluru. The controversy erupted when Khan reportedly flashed the middle finger at the crowd, leading to a police complaint filed by lawyer Owaiz Hussain S.
The complaint has been directed to multiple authorities, including the DGP and Bengaluru City Police Commissioner. Hussain claims that Khan's actions, witnessed by numerous women at the venue, insulted their modesty and depicted Bengaluru negatively as a safe, dignified public environment.
Authorities have responded by launching an investigation under Section 173 B of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Deputy Commissioner Hawal Akshay Machhindra revealed that the police are examining the incident, with CCTV footage being reviewed for evidence, after the event, held under Ashok Nagar police's jurisdiction, sparked significant public and media attention.
