Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan underscored the enduring cultural unity of India during a public address on Sunday, asserting that no external influence can dismantle India's cultural fabric. He highlighted the power of Sanatana Dharma, anchored in Vedic traditions and the Bhagavad Gita, as a pivotal force in guiding societal values.
Addressing the gathering at the conclusion of the Mega Geethothsava in Udupi, Kalyan shared his personal connection with the Gita, describing it as a life guide and encouraging younger generations to similarly embrace its teachings. He commended Udupi for its spiritual significance, attributing its global recognition to historic figures like Madhwacharya and Kanakadasa.
Kalyan further advocated for the integration of religious teachings, such as the Gita, into educational curricula and announced initiatives like the 'Koti Gita Lekhana Yajna'. Emphasizing traditional practices like cow protection, he proposed government-supported cow sheds for farmers, promoting cultural preservation through practical action.
