The Godavari Pushkarams, a ritualistic pilgrimage comparable to the famed Kumbh Mela, is slated to begin on June 26, 2027, in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, as announced by an official source.
M Hari Jawaharlal, the ex-officio secretary of the Revenue (Endowments-II) Department, detailed that the state government carefully selected the dates after consulting T Venkata Krishna Purna Prasad, a prominent religious figure from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
The pilgrimage, which will last 12 days until July 7, 2027, was formalized in a government order. The Endowments Commissioner requested the expertise of the TTD priest to finalize the timing for this major spiritual gathering, while a state-issued notification confirmed the plan.
