The Kerala Film Market has kicked off its third edition as part of the International Film Festival of Kerala, hosting from December 14 to 16 at the South Park Hotel. This year, the event sees the introduction of new offerings including a project market, video library, and industry voices, marking a significant expansion.
Inaugurated by Rajan Khobragade, Additional Chief Secretary of the Government of Kerala, the market showcases 12 projects and 13 films curated under the 'Curator's Pick' section. The offerings are designed to facilitate collaboration and boost growth within the film industry.
The Kerala State Film Development Corporation aims to leverage this platform to enhance Kerala's film presence internationally, fostering creative and financial partnerships across the globe. Notable attendees included TV Chandran and Cuckoo Parameswaran.
