Mizoram Salutes Heroes on Vijay Diwas

Mizoram celebrated Vijay Diwas to honor soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation during the 1971 war with Pakistan. Dignitaries participated in wreath-laying ceremonies in Aizawl and Lunglei, recognizing the bravery and sacrifice of India's armed forces and paying tribute to the martyrs.

Mizoram marked 'Vijay Diwas' with a ceremonial program honoring soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. The day commemorates India's victory in the 1971 war against Pakistan.

Chief Minister Lalduhoma, alongside other officials, laid wreaths at Aizawl's War Memorial as an homage to the martyrs.

In Lunglei, personnel from 20 Assam Rifles and members of the Mizoram Ex-Services League participated in commemorations. The day highlighted the courage and sacrifice of the armed forces.
