Odisha's Pathani Samanta Planetarium Set for Major Transformation

The Odisha government and Birla Industrial & Technology Museum (BITM) of Kolkata signed a Memorandum of Understanding to modernize the Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Bhubaneswar. This initiative aims to enhance astronomical education and establish new science centers across Odisha, benefiting both students and the general public.

The Odisha government has taken a significant step towards revitalizing the Pathani Samanta Planetarium. In collaboration with Birla Industrial & Technology Museum (BITM), Kolkata, a memorandum of understanding has been signed to modernize this important institution based in Bhubaneswar.

Planned upgrades aim to transform the planetarium into a state-of-the-art facility, enhancing astronomy education in Odisha.
