Finn Wolfhard's hosting of Saturday Night Live marked a significant moment for the young actor. During the January 17 episode, he was joined on stage by Stranger Things co-stars Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo, much to the delight of fans.

However, Noah Schnapp was conspicuously absent. According to PEOPLE, Schnapp, known for his role as Will Byers in the series, was attending Milan Fashion Week in Italy at the time, even appearing at Ralph Lauren's Men's Fall/Winter 2026 fashion show just a day before SNL aired.

Despite Schnapp's absence, Wolfhard received support from his cast mates, who attended the afterparty. Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery joined in the celebrations. During his monologue, Wolfhard humorously reflected on maturing beyond his child actor image, and McLaughlin and Matarazzo echoed this sentiment, emphasizing their shift from child to former child stars.
