Korean Kanakaraju: A Cross-Cultural Horror-Comedy Extravaganza
Actor Varun Tej has unveiled the title of his upcoming Indo-Korean horror-comedy film, 'Korean Kanakaraju'. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by First Frame Entertainments, the film promises a blend of laughs and thrills, set to hit theaters in summer 2026.

Actor Varun Tej announced on Monday the title of his forthcoming Indo-Korean horror-comedy as 'Korean Kanakaraju'.
The film, previously referred to as '#VT15', is directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by First Frame Entertainments. Known for his roles in 'Kanche', 'Operation Valentine', and 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna', Tej revealed the announcement video on Instagram.
In the video, an Indian photographer is interrogated by cops who are demanding details about Tej's character. Tej dramatically enters, confronting the Korean cops, ending with his declaration, 'I am back'. Shooting began in March 2025 in Hyderabad, initiated by a pooja ceremony. The film promises an entertaining mix of laughter, chills, and thrills.
