Acknowledging the ongoing cultural and political struggles, he asserted that only the values of Anna could counter such pressures.

Palaniswami, paying respects in a black shirt, declared AIADMK's duty to uphold Anna's principles, asserting the party's commitment to restore governance that honors Anna's legacy. Leaders honored Annadurai with tributes and traditional feasts across the state.
