Ekamra Project Set for Completion by March 2027

The Ekamra project at Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar is scheduled for completion by March 2027. The project includes new constructions like a statue of Lord Shiva, an interpretation center, and redevelopment of Bindu Sagar as a heritage lake. A new project plan with additional budget is underway.

The Ekamra Kshetra Amenities and Monument Revival Action project at Bhubaneswar's Lingaraj Temple is progressing towards a 2027 completion deadline, as confirmed by Works Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan.

Key developments include a grand statue of Lord Shiva, an interpretation center, and the transformation of Bindu Sagar into a heritage lake. The previous agency managing the project is being replaced.

A revamped plan, incorporating an expanded scope of work and increased budget, aims to ensure timely completion by the end of the 2026-27 fiscal year.
