Anurag Kashyap's upcoming film, 'Bandar', headlines Bobby Deol and is set to release worldwide on May 22. The film draws inspiration from true events, depicting the story of a fading star accused of rape and highlighting the systemic flaws within the justice system.
The screenplay was written by Kashyap in collaboration with Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, both known for their work on acclaimed OTT shows. The movie had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in the special presentations category last year.
Aside from Deol, the cast includes Sanya Malhotra, Raj B Shetty, and others, under the production of Nikhil Dwivedi and Zee Studios. Meanwhile, Kashyap's 'Kennedy' recently premiered on ZEE5 after a three-year delay.
